I'm very excited about a new project I'm just wrapping up. This album features three great friends and wonderful musicians: Rob Kyle (sax & flute), Hussain Jiffry (bass), and Kevin Winard (drums & percussion). We've recorded nine tunes - five originals I've written and four standards - a funky 4/4 version of Wayne Shorter's "Footprints", a Latin groove on "Alone Together", a new take on "Wave", and a high-energy salsa version of "Autumn Leaves". Hope to release this by late-summer/early-fall.

For a long time, my first CD as a leader - “Resolution” - has only been available as a physical CD.  I'm happy to report that it's now available on all major streaming platforms.  This session featured Andy Suzuki on tenor and soprano saxes, Dean Taba on acoustic and electric basses, and Kendall Kay on percussion, and their playing on this project is amazing.
